The Creative Content Lead Role

Ethos Interactive is seeking a Creative Content Lead to join its full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves shaping content ideas, directing their execution, and presenting them to clients. The Creative Content Lead will serve as the creative engine for a diverse client portfolio, developing content programs and defining their visual and auditory presence across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original content ideas, content series, hero campaigns, and platform-native programs designed for audience engagement.
• Direct video content production from concept through to final screen, including writing treatments, guiding directors and editors, providing clear creative direction on shoots, and critically reviewing cuts.
• Manage content calendars for multiple clients, ensuring all posts, scripts, and captions adhere to brand guidelines, deadlines, and platform requirements.
• Write and edit copy personally when necessary to support content initiatives.
• Craft clear, visually compelling presentations and confidently present creative thinking to senior client stakeholders, including C-level audiences, while being prepared to defend ideas and adjust as necessary.
• Lead and develop a small team of content executives and associates, providing clear direction and reviewing their work.
• Utilize social listening tools and platform analytics to inform content decisions, build simple monthly performance frameworks, and demonstrate content effectiveness to clients.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in a relevant creative content leadership role.
• Strong writing abilities in both Arabic and English.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently develop original content ideas and fresh thinking.
• Proficiency in shaping video content from concept to screen, including directing and editing guidance.
• Experience in crafting and delivering presentations to senior client stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills to manage and develop a small content team.
• Analytical skills to use social listening tools and platform analytics for content strategy and performance measurement.

Cultural and Digital Platform Expertise

A critical aspect of this role is a deep cultural fluency within the local market, coupled with an instinct for content that resonates on widely used platforms. The successful candidate will be genuinely native to social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Snap, X, and YouTube, understanding trends, formats, sounds, and creators instinctively. This includes staying attuned to local culture, dialect, humor, and current conversations to translate these insights into authentic, platform-native content.
