About the Role

NOYA Clinics is seeking a CSSD Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves ensuring the proper sterilization and management of medical instruments and equipment within a clinical setting. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and decontamination of reusable medical instruments and equipment.
Operate sterilization equipment, including steam sterilizers (autoclaves), according to approved procedures.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, damage, completeness, and proper functionality.
Assemble and package surgical instrument sets and medical supplies according to established standards.
Monitor sterilization cycles and verify physical, chemical, and biological indicators as required.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, load monitoring, equipment maintenance, and traceability.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of sterile supplies.
Follow infection prevention and control policies, occupational safety procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements.
Perform routine checks and report equipment malfunctions or sterilization failures to the supervisor.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the decontamination, preparation and packaging, sterilization, and sterile storage areas.
Follow established procedures for handling contaminated instruments and transporting them safely.
Participate in quality improvement activities, audits, staff training, and competency assessments.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and applicable professional standards.

Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a CSSD role or similar capacity.
Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain sterilization equipment.
Proficiency in following infection prevention and control protocols.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the clinical environment of NOYA Clinics. The role requires adherence to strict safety and hygiene standards.
