About the Role

Link Datacenter is seeking a Data Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to supporting enterprise data initiatives by ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability, while also contributing to the development of modern data engineering solutions.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust data infrastructure. This involves a dual focus on applying data engineering principles and rigorous data quality assurance to support critical business operations and analytical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
• Monitor and continuously improve data quality across various datasets.
• Perform data cleansing and validation activities to maintain data integrity.
• Develop and implement data quality rules and controls.
• Provide support for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Collaborate effectively with Data Governance and Analytics teams.
• Investigate and resolve identified data quality issues promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive data documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or data quality roles.
• Proven experience with SQL and various ETL tools.
• Solid knowledge of data quality methodologies and best practices.

Essential Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms is considered an advantage.
