The Designated Engineer Role

Nozomi Networks is seeking a full-time Designated Engineer (DE) to join its Professional Services department in Riyadh. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise and industrial customers, ensuring their cybersecurity platforms operate effectively and evolve to address emerging threats. The Designated Engineer will work closely with customers to deploy, maintain, and optimize the Nozomi solution, collaborating with senior professional services engineers, Customer Success Managers, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison for assigned customers, focusing on operational support and platform optimization.
• Conduct regular health checks, tune sensor configurations, optimize alert generation, and guide upgrade roll-outs.
• Design and implement new features, integrations, dashboards, and custom queries to support customer use cases.
• Develop and maintain customer-specific documentation, workflows, and use cases, and deliver knowledge-transfer workshops on new releases and best practices.
• Investigate incidents, open and manage support cases/RMAs, and drive issues to root-cause closure with Technical Support.
• Provide weekly activity summaries and planning updates to customers.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers, Product, and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities and share field feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of professional experience in a relevant technical role.
• Strong technical foundation with a focus on customer success.
• Ability to effectively deploy, maintain, and optimize cybersecurity platforms.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
