About the Opportunity

AIQU is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a leading client based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position for professionals with 5-10 years of experience who are dedicated to advancing cloud technologies, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This position focuses on leveraging modern cloud platforms and automation tools to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure platforms.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab CI.
• Administer Linux systems and develop automation scripts using Shell and Python.
• Configure and utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Elasticsearch to ensure system performance and health.
• Apply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices and cloud security standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps engineering role.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins and/or GitLab CI.
• Strong background in Linux administration, Shell scripting, and Python programming.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Elasticsearch.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting and automation.
• Understanding of DevOps best practices and cloud security principles.
