alfanar, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is a diversified company with operations in construction, manufacturing, design & development, and allied engineering services across the Middle East and other countries. The company is involved in Electrical, Electromechanical, and Civil Engineering Construction, manufacturing and marketing Electrical Construction Products. We are seeking a Digital Solutions Manager to join our team in Riyadh for a full-time position.

Role Purpose and Strategic Impact

The Digital Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the development, positioning, delivery, and lifecycle management of digital solutions for customers across the utilities, energy, water, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. This role bridges business requirements, Operational Technology (OT), and Information Technology (IT) to deliver scalable and innovative digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, asset performance, reliability, and business outcomes. The position also drives digital transformation initiatives, supports business growth, and ensures successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Digital Solutions strategy, defining roadmaps aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
• Lead the design of end-to-end digital and automation solutions, integrating OT and IT environments, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and cybersecurity requirements.
• Oversee the configuration, customization, deployment, and support of digital applications and platforms, including workflows, dashboards, reports, analytics, and business process automation solutions.
• Manage solution testing, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities, driving lifecycle management from concept through deployment and support.
• Lead the integration of industrial and enterprise platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability between operational and enterprise environments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, leading workshops, technical discussions, demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities.
• Support sales and business development teams in solution positioning, proposal development, and bid responses, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to revenue growth.
• Drive the adoption of advanced technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Predictive Maintenance, Digital Twins, Advanced Analytics, and Industrial IoT.
• Oversee the successful delivery of digital solutions projects, ensuring completion within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Supervise FAT, SAT, commissioning, deployment, training, and customer acceptance activities.

Leadership and General Management Accountabilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop solution architects, application engineers, and digital specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Take full responsibility for operations, anticipating problems, making timely decisions, and delivering required results with quality and cost efficiency.
• Transform corporate goals into business plans, monitor performance, and initiate actions to strengthen results and take corrective measures.
• Develop and improve organizational structures and business processes, seeking automation opportunities and promoting the utilization of IT solutions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment in accordance with standard regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Work Experience: 6 to 10 years in a related field.
