About the Role

alfanar Building Systems is seeking an Engineer, Controlling & Closing to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on supporting integrated project control across construction projects.

Role Purpose

The Controlling Engineer is responsible for coordinating essential project control functions. This includes planning, cost management, progress monitoring, project reporting, document control, billing procedures, and stakeholder follow-up to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress against established schedules, budgets, deliverables, and contractual requirements.
• Support integrated reporting activities across planning, cost control, procurement, construction, and contract administration functions.
• Identify gaps in project control processes and escalate risks, potential delays, and coordination issues to management.

Required Activities

• Coordinate effectively between engineering, procurement, construction, client, consultant, and internal PMO teams.
• Follow up on pending actions, outstanding documents, billing inputs, claims, variations, and all project reporting requirements.
• Support project meetings, progress reviews, and internal control routines to maintain alignment of project information.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within alfanar Building Systems, part of alfanar Group.
