Engineering Manager

About the Role

Almarai - المراعي is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves taking full responsibility for the Manufacturing Engineering Group in the absence of the Senior Engineering Manager, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the planning and implementation of preventative maintenance for all plant and equipment to meet process and manufacturing demands.
• Assist in the planning and execution of project activities to meet agreed specifications and timelines.
• Support the development and implementation of initiatives to foster a safety-conscious culture within the Engineering department.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Procedures and standards within the Manufacturing Engineering function.
• Meet preset targets for the Manufacturing Engineering Department and site.
• Identify skill requirements for Engineering staff and develop an adequate skill base for future growth to meet business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing facility operations.
• Experience in building maintenance, MEP systems, and building operations, with deep technical knowledge of critical facility systems.
• Experience in conducting Health and Safety, and Quality Audits within the Food/Dairy Industry.
• Prior experience in the Dairy or Food Industry is required.
• Ability to manage a large number of headcounts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
