About the Role

Al-Bilad for Consultancies & Solutions is hiring a full-time English Language Instructor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves teaching English language and literature to trainees, with a primary focus on preparing students for successful careers in local industry. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in language instruction.

Role Overview

The English Language Instructor is responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons, assessing trainee progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. Key responsibilities include developing curriculum, implementing effective instructional strategies, and providing comprehensive support to trainees in achieving their academic and professional goals.

Instructional Delivery and Curriculum

• Be a part of the Institute’s English Language Teaching Delivery team, focusing on the Trainee Learning Journey to prepare students for working in local industry.
• Deliver the Integrated English Language component of the Diploma program for Technical pathways according to curricula content and conduct required program assessments.
• Teach according to associated schemes of work and available teaching resources, developing and personalizing lesson plans that appropriately pace and reflect realistic class learning.
• Deliver training resources that support soft skills and English Language development through a varied set of teaching activities that feed and satisfy a range of kinaesthetic learning styles.
• Contribute to the development and storage of new teaching resources and advise on the development of teaching resources in the assigned area of responsibility.

Collaboration and Quality Assurance

• Work with English and Engineering Teams, Quality Coordinators, Technicians, and others responsible for teaching, learning, and assessment in the assigned area to support a holistic approach to curriculum delivery.
• Coordinate Self-Assessment Reviews within the English Language Department.
• Support Trainee Affairs in promoting the upkeep of accurate records of Trainee attendance, assessments, and achievements in line with Institute Quality Assurance processes.

Professional Development and Reporting

• Be an active part of the “Train the Trainer” continuous professional development (CPD) program and attend sessions as required to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment within EWA.
• Supply the English Language team, Institute Management team, and Trainee Affairs with individual Trainee appraisals that contribute to the production of Trainee reports.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Training and EWA management to provide professional training delivery to meet trainee material sponsor requirements.
