The Opportunity

Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking an Executive Quantity Surveyor MRICS to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role supports an iconic giga program, focusing on quantity surveying and commercial management within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver post-contract commercial management services.
• Manage projects to ensure high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with Gleeds procedures.
• Engage positively with clients and develop, grow, and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure cost management deliverables meet client requirements.
• Value completed work and arrange for payments.
• Provide senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues related to construction projects.
• Administer contracts as a Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.
• Produce and present reports to clients.
• Advise Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects.

Candidate Requirements

• MRICS qualified professional.
• 15+ years of post-graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying.
• 3+ years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
• 3+ years of experience with a consultancy organization.
• Proven experience operating as a Senior Commercial Manager delivering giga building projects.
• Experience with giga-scale building projects, hospitality, and education sectors.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of post-contract commercial management.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
