The Role

Inhabit is seeking a Facade Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves delivering facade engineering solutions that meet client requirements, project timelines, and budgets. The Facade Engineer will work on complex projects across the region, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop building envelope systems that integrate functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver facade and structural engineering solutions, including concept development, detailed design, documentation, analysis, specifications, and construction phase support.
• Manage project planning and coordinate resources for assigned projects to ensure efficient execution and quality outcomes.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, design specifications, and project deliverables in accordance with client requirements and local building codes.
• Produce and coordinate facade engineering designs by collaborating with internal design teams, architects, and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through professional, transparent, and productive work practices.
• Analyze facade systems, including curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist systems, to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the team in problem-solving and innovation to advance facade engineering practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in facade engineering or a similar role, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Demonstrated experience working on facade projects, including curtain wall systems, glazing, cladding, and specialist facade systems.
• Proficiency with relevant software and platforms such as REVIT, BIM, SpaceGass, or equivalent design tools.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, including budget management, timeline adherence, and client requirement fulfillment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-rise or complex facade systems in challenging environments.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and GCC building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience in a multicultural and collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable facade design and energy-efficient building envelope systems.
• Problem-solving expertise and innovative thinking in facade engineering solutions.
• Professional engineering licensure or relevant certifications in structural or facade engineering.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team on high-profile projects across the region.
