About Colada and the Opportunity

Colada, a prominent company within the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking a Flutter Engineer to join its mobile development team. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this full-time, mid-to-senior role offers the opportunity to take ownership of features from user interface design through to API integration.

Role Summary

The Flutter Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of core product features. This includes critical areas such as customer ordering, checkout processes, and loyalty/rewards programs. The position involves working on a fully remote, async-friendly team, emphasizing clear written communication.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain core product features spanning ordering, checkout, and customer loyalty/rewards systems.
Integrate with the existing REST API (Dio) and real-time updates using *******
Collaborate with payment providers to support diverse checkout flows across various markets.
Implement location-based functionalities, including maps and geolocation services.
Manage push notification flows via Firebase Messaging and handle lifecycle/marketing notifications.
Support instrumentation for analytics and experimentation.
Develop and ship bilingual user interfaces that are English/Arabic and RTL-aware.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a clean codebase architecture as the application scales.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of professional Flutter/Dart experience, with applications successfully shipped to both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Strong understanding of state management patterns in Flutter.
Experience with declarative or generated routing solutions.
Solid grasp of asynchronous Dart programming, REST API integration, and JSON serialization/code generation.
Proficiency with Firebase, specifically Firebase Messaging for push notifications.
Comfortable with Git-based workflows and participating in code review processes.
Understanding of mobile app release processes for App Store Connect and Google Play Console; Fastlane experience is considered a plus.
