About the Role

Ultimate Peaks is seeking a Head of Software Engineering to lead software development teams and oversee the delivery of technology solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and involves managing the full software development lifecycle. The role focuses on fostering technical excellence and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Role Context

The Head of Software Engineering will collaborate with product management, design, and operations teams. This leadership position is responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality software products that meet client needs. The role requires a strategic and dynamic approach to software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop software engineering teams across various projects.
• Define and implement software engineering best practices, development methodologies, and quality standards.
• Drive architectural decisions to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of software solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery milestones for on-time project completion.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi national only, as per client request.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3-5 years in software engineering leadership roles such as Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or Head of Engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
