About the Role

Four Seasons Hotels (KSA) is seeking a dedicated Host/ess to join the team at Café Boulud, located within the iconic Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and serves as the primary point of contact for guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable first impression. The Host/ess is responsible for upholding the exceptional service standards synonymous with Four Seasons.

Café Boulud Context

Café Boulud offers a contemporary French dining experience, drawing inspiration from Chef Daniel Boulud's distinctive culinary philosophy. The restaurant provides an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. The Host/ess contributes significantly to maintaining this ambiance and ensuring a smooth operational flow for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests upon their arrival.
• Manage reservations efficiently and coordinate table assignments.
• Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests from their arrival to departure.
• Collaborate closely with the Restaurant Management and Service team to oversee the restaurant's flow.
• Maximize seating efficiency to optimize guest service.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries.
• Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality.
• Contribute to ensuring every guest receives a personalized and memorable welcome.
• Maintain the smooth operation of the restaurant's reservation and seating processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year of experience in a restaurant, Food & Beverage, or guest service environment.
• Prior experience within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
• Previous hostess or restaurant reservations experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of restaurant reservations systems, with SevenRooms experience being beneficial.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic are preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and grooming in accordance with Four Seasons standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Compensation and Work Environment

This full-time Host/ess position offers a competitive net salary within a tax-free environment in Riyadh. The role requires flexibility to accommodate varying shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays, to support the restaurant's operational needs and ensure continuous high-quality guest service.
