About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking an HR Business Partner for a full-time position based in Riyadh. This role is an individual contributor position focused on supporting business leaders and employees within the KSA central team, specifically located at one of the Riyadh-based warehouses. The HR Business Partner will operate as a strategic partner, driving business results through close collaboration with leadership and a strong connection with employees at all levels.

Role Context and Objectives

This generalist HR role is designed to balance strategic insight with hands-on execution. The primary objective is to enhance the employee experience and support business continuity by addressing complex employee matters, driving initiatives related to leadership capabilities in performance and talent management, and improving organizational culture. The HR Business Partner will work directly with the country HR leader for Amazon Customer Fulfilment in Saudi Arabia and regional partners in the MEA-TR region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead country-wide feedback strategies, including data reviews, roundtables, and pulse mechanisms.
• Navigate complex employee situations with sound judgment, balancing employee advocacy, compliance, and business impact.
• Implement recognition programs and champion inclusion and belonging initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on sensitive people issues and complex decision-making.
• Utilize data analytics to inform people decisions and identify root causes of organizational issues.
• Support organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Drive standard work excellence and ensure process consistency across the organization.
• Escalate structural, cultural, or systemic risks that impact the employee population.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant HR experience. This role requires the ability to zoom in and out of various aspects impacting the employee experience, Amazon's employer value proposition, and business continuity. A strong understanding of HR generalist functions and the ability to manage complex employee relations are essential.

Team and Work Environment

This role is part of the HR Operations team, a group of HR professionals dedicated to serving internal customers. The team is characterized by a collaborative environment where members are obsessed with customer needs, work backwards from inputs, and continuously strive to raise standards while supporting each other. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a warehouse operational setting.
