Mina Excellence is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on ensuring the continuous operational integrity of IT infrastructure.

Role Summary

The Infrastructure Monitoring Analyst is responsible for the continuous monitoring of data center infrastructure and supporting IT environments. This includes servers, virtualization, storage, backup, databases, networks, security, applications, and other critical systems. The role involves handling alerts, performing initial validation, creating and classifying incidents, and ensuring appropriate notification and escalation to relevant technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor infrastructure and data center environments, including servers, virtualization, storage, backup, databases, networks, security, and applications.
• Monitor dashboards and respond to system alerts and events promptly.
• Perform initial validation and basic troubleshooting of alerts to determine their nature and impact.
• Create and accurately classify incidents within the ITSM/ticketing system.
• Notify and escalate incidents to the appropriate technical teams based on established procedures and SLAs.
• Track and follow up on open incidents until their resolution is confirmed.
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents and monitoring activities.
• Support shift handovers and contribute to daily operational reporting.
• Identify recurring alerts and report them to L2/L3 teams for further investigation and resolution.
• Adhere to established monitoring, escalation, and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in NOC, IT support, infrastructure monitoring, or technical support roles.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and data center environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and ITSM/ticketing platforms.
• Basic knowledge of networking, servers, storage, backup, and virtualization concepts.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to alerts.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 or shift-based operational environment.

Work Environment

This role operates within a dynamic IT environment, requiring continuous monitoring and rapid response to ensure system stability and performance. The position may involve working in shifts to cover 24/7 operational requirements.
