About the Role

Egis is seeking an Investment and Business Development Director to lead efforts in identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities for sustainable urban development projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive experience in investment management and a deep understanding of the engineering industry to attract funding, secure partnerships, and drive financial success for projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with project objectives and market dynamics.
Conduct in-depth market research and feasibility studies to identify potential investment opportunities in sustainable urban development projects.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support for project development.
Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial, legal, and technical assessments, to mitigate risks and ensure investment viability.
Lead negotiations and structuring of investment deals, including equity investments, debt financing, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on investment performance and portfolio management.
Provide leadership and guidance to the investment development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management and business development, with a strong background in the engineering industry.
