About The Helicopter Company

The Helicopter Company (THC) is seeking a Licensed Sr. Technician I (Type-Rated AW139) to join its team. This is a full-time contract position based at the THC Main Base in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring permanent relocation.

Role Summary

The Sr. Technician I will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations on AW139 helicopters. This role involves strict adherence to safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation, contributing to the operational integrity of THC's fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote SMS reporting through THC's safety management systems.
  • Recommend engineering safety practices, ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and advise on any deficiencies.
  • Report hangar facility deficiencies or defects to the Line Manager or via the safety management system.
  • Execute all maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations correctly, utilizing current approved technical data.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with RSQCM, GMM, and TODPM Work Instructions.
  • Verify that required engineering standards and aircraft maintenance documentation are completed accurately.
  • Participate in or conduct daily toolbox talks and aircraft team briefings for assigned maintenance projects.
  • Attend weekly production planning meetings as required, reporting on hangar maintenance activities and advising on specific manning, tooling, test equipment, and parts needs.
  • Ensure all removed aircraft components are correctly labelled, protected, and stored for aircraft under maintenance.
  • Identify and communicate staff training needs to the Line Manager.
  • Foster teamwork, staff discipline, adherence to company uniform policy, and corporate identity.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all work-related matters and information.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a valid GACA, A&P, EASA Part-66, ICAO/FAA, or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance License.
  • The Aircraft Maintenance License must have been held for a minimum of four (4) years from its original date of issue and possess at least six (6) months of remaining validity at the time of application.
  • Successful completion of an approved AW139 Airframe and Engine Type Rating, including theoretical and practical training, with all required assessments passed.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience on the AW139.
  • At least one (1) year of AW139 experience within the last three (3) years.
  • Currently active on the AW139, with hands-on aircraft maintenance experience within the last six (6) months.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at The Helicopter Company's Main Base. Permanent relocation to Riyadh is a mandatory requirement for this role.
