Mechanical Inspector

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position for a professional with over 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection within the consultancy or construction supervision sectors.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical installations comply with approved standards and specifications. This role involves comprehensive inspection activities, verification of work quality, and support throughout the project lifecycle from testing to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, irrigation, and mechanical equipment installations.
• Review and respond to mechanical Requests for Inspection (RFIs).
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Witness pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, equipment start-up, and system testing.
• Check pipework, ductwork, insulation, supports, equipment, fixtures, and connections.
• Identify non-compliant work and monitor corrective actions.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection.
• Previous consultancy or construction supervision experience is preferred.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
