About the Role

BAE SYSTEMS is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience.

Role Responsibilities

The Network Engineer will be involved in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of existing and future network infrastructures. Key responsibilities include:

• Interfacing with vendors to ensure appropriate communication and issue resolution.
• Performing routine health checks and preventive measures on assigned systems.
• Monitoring network performance and reporting failures or degradations to senior team members and management.
• Running proof of concept deployments and troubleshooting issues to identify and address root causes.
• Adhering to and maintaining network operations and security standards.
• Maintaining technical expertise across all operational network components.
• Collaborating with other IT Operations groups to support projects and daily operations.
• Communicating status, plans, and resolutions for reported issues proactively and effectively.
• Providing high-quality support to internal and external customers and technology partners.
• Managing case escalations to senior network engineers or the Network Operations Manager while maintaining customer communication.

Documentation and Support

The role involves maintaining up-to-date operational documentation and assisting in the generation of technical documentation and guide manuals. Effective communication and customer support are integral to this position.

Job Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of three years’ experience in network deployment and operations.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• CCNA Certification.
