About the IT Network Engineer Role

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to join their team in the Eastern Province. This full-time position requires a professional with 3 to 10 years of experience in network infrastructure and management. The role involves maintaining and enhancing the company's network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments.
• Provide technical assistance and second-level support to users for LAN, WAN, and Intranet systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and manage network traffic and conditions to optimize performance and uptime by analyzing data to minimize network congestion.
• Install and configure network equipment to address hardware or software issues.
• Manage security solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Technical Support team to facilitate the rollout of new business locations according to defined standards.
• Research and recommend network hardware and software, including telecommunications methods and protocols.
• Assign configurations for authentication and authorization of directory services.
• Manage company-wide internet accessibility and grant users appropriate website access based on their functions.
• Maintain VPN connectivity for all remote users to corporate data.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years of related work experience in a corporate IT environment.
• A strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
• Expert-level experience with securing enterprise networks and systems.
• The ability to create network diagrams and documentation for designing and planning network communication systems.
• Operational knowledge of network and routing protocols.
• CCNA Certification is mandatory.

Work Details

This is a full-time position located in the Eastern Province. The salary range for this role is SAR 7,500 to SAR 11,250 per month, commensurate with experience.
