Network & Security Manager

About the Role

Abunayyan Holding is seeking a Network & Security Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the comprehensive management of the enterprise network infrastructure, encompassing data, voice communication, and security. The position involves critical monitoring and control activities to ensure the reliability, stability, and security of network infrastructure and the continuity of related services, alongside managing assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and deploy enterprise-wide secured and scalable network and communication infrastructure and services, in consultation with the Head of Networks & Infrastructure.
• Monitor enterprise-wide network and communication infrastructure and services, generating and gathering network statistics for effective operational continuity, vulnerability safeguarding, and capacity planning.
• Ensure the availability and continuity of operations for the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Provide technical assistance to network, system, and security administrators.
• Develop necessary documentation related to the job domain and record configurations (logical/physical).

Preventive Maintenance and Compliance

• Plan and execute periodic preventive maintenance activities for concerned domains.
• Ensure timely performance of routine and ad-hoc preventive maintenance activities in line with governing standards.
• Manage the effective life cycle of admin profiles and implement effective patch management processes for relevant domains.
• Schedule periodic audits of network devices, appliances, and servers within the enterprise, including coordination for internal and external audits.
• Adhere to license compliance (hard/soft) and implement applicable policies and procedures, including the enforced Information Systems Security Policy.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity

• Develop, document, implement, and maintain a disaster recovery plan for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage the backup process, including backups through different modes for devices and appliances, and restoration activities for concerned domains.
• Perform service restoration activities in the event of a disaster or outage, conduct Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) for problems, incidents, and errors, and ensure deployment of permanent fixes.
• Carry out periodic and planned drill tests for concerned domains and document results.

Team and Project Management

• Lead and supervise the team of Network Administrators, including work scheduling, prioritizing, monitoring, and providing technical assistance for assigned projects.
• Assist the Head of Networks & Infrastructure in carrying out project management activities for major projects and initiatives.
• Manage, guide, and assist direct reports in performing their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.

Service Desk Operations

• Review helpdesk system statistics regarding the performance of concerned ICT staff.
• Closely monitor users’ complaints, problems, and errors, providing timely resolutions for assigned Service Desk tickets.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in network and security management. The role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, and disaster recovery planning. Experience in leading technical teams and managing projects is essential.
