The Role of Operations & Maintenance Expert

Solutions Valley is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Expert to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of private distribution and transmission networks. The expert will also support the development and pricing of O&M contracts and service agreements, combining technical expertise in power system operations with commercial capabilities in cost estimation, tendering, and proposal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee operation and maintenance strategies for private networks.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize asset performance and reliability.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance plans, asset management programs, and operational KPIs.
• Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for O&M contracts.
• Develop cost estimates, manpower plans, budgets, and pricing models for O&M projects.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, and scope requirements.
• Support business development, bid preparation, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, utility regulations, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in power system operations.
• Proven commercial capabilities in cost estimation, tendering, and proposal development.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
