About Parsons Corporation

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Planning/Reporting Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing planning and scheduling activities for mixed-use development projects, encompassing both infrastructure and building components.

Role Overview

The Planning/Reporting Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive analysis, scheduling, and reporting functions crucial for the timely and efficient delivery of projects. This includes developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing critical insights to project management and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and schedule activities related to project design and construction.
  • Provide project management consultation on factors impacting project completion timelines.
  • Perform specialized analysis for resource loading and performance progress.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and project team members regarding project status.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and statements of work to prepare activity networks for resource planning and scheduling.
  • Assist in the preparation and regular updating of the program master schedule, including critical path analysis for project management reporting.
  • Prepare plans, schedules, status reports, and performance evaluations.
  • Analyze progress reports against current baseline schedules.
  • Develop and maintain estimates for manpower, equipment, and material delivery requirements.
  • Monitor material status reports against construction schedules and review with procurement and construction groups.
  • Maintain liaison with project and field personnel for schedule revisions and updates.
  • Provide project planning capabilities, including critical interfaces and risk analysis.
  • Establish and monitor project controls Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform project Extension of Time (EOT) analysis.
  • Develop Action and Recovery plans to support on-time project delivery.
  • Support project management in conducting project status reviews and performance control.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and verify the work of scheduling personnel assigned to projects under direction.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in planning and reporting within engineering or construction projects.
