About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Pre Qualification & Prescription Manager Utilities to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing prequalification processes and ensuring excellence in prescription activities within the utilities sector. The role requires leading a team to achieve high standards and contribute to the company's success in project pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Power & Water sales strategies, plans, and processes, ensuring alignment with alfanar’s objectives.
Stay updated on modifications to submitted documents, approvals, or requirements from end users and consultants regarding power and water products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international end users, consultants, and key stakeholders in the power and water sectors.
Monitor achievements and deviations in marketing and sales plans, providing progress reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure effective implementation of the prequalification strategy by setting objectives and managing team performance.
Actively participate in the coordination of power and water-related products and solutions across alfanar’s units.
Provide and implement tools to meet market requirements, especially those supporting technical specification and compliance approaches.
Stay informed about market trends and requirements, specifying market needs for current and future power and water solutions.
Conduct market research, including customer visits, to identify current and future requirements for power and water products.
Forecast long- and short-term market potential for the power and water sectors in Saudi Arabia.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards within the power and water sales domain.
Provide comprehensive support to local end users and clients adopting alfanar’s power and water solutions.

Leadership and Management Accountabilities

Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to create a robust second line of management.
Recognize low performers and guide them to improve or manage their exit.
Ensure fair treatment of subordinates without discrimination, basing assessments on performance and planned results.
Ensure the availability of a delegation of authority matrix as per company policy.
Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description and required deliverables, adhering to company guidelines.
Anticipate problems and take proactive steps to prevent them, making timely and proper decisions.
Deliver required results in a timely manner with specified quality and cost.
Make a tangible difference to the area of operation, exceeding business expectations.

Business Planning and Development

Transform corporate goals into actionable business plans.
Plan, follow up, and execute annual and development plans.
Monitor plan performance and initiate actions to strengthen results and take corrective measures.
Provide periodic work progress reports.
Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
Develop the organizational structure according to current requirements, considering future and development plans.
Ensure availability of job descriptions for all roles and their deployment.
Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business, promoting their full use.
Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment as per standard regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of relevant experience.
Ability to adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
Commitment to quality as a prime competitive advantage.
