The Role of Project Commercial Manager

The Project Commercial Manager will lead the full lifecycle procurement of EPC contracts, major subcontracts, and OEM packages for assigned project opportunities. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop contracting, packaging, sourcing, market-engagement, evaluation, governance, and award plans for assigned projects.
• Build competitive contractor and subcontractor fields, and lead prequalification, RFP issuance, clarifications, and BAFO processes.
• Secure project OEM packages, capacities, and commercial commitments, supported by Electrical and Mechanical LLE & OEM Procurement Specialists.
• Coordinate complete technical, commercial, contractual, and execution requirements to ensure packages are market-ready.
• Maintain competitive tension, bidder equality, evaluation traceability, approval gates, and complete procurement records with coordinator support.
• Lead normalization, scope and exclusion analysis, cost benchmarks, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), schedule and risk adjustments, and commercial ranking.
• Collaborate with the EPC Contracts & Legal Interface Lead and Legal team to translate negotiated terms into complete contracts, schedules, and obligations.
• Coordinate with the Project Solutions & Cost Specialist and shared specialists to integrate commercial, solutions, cost, delivery, permitting, OEM, and contractual inputs.
• Prepare executive award recommendations and hand over final scope, price, commitments, deviations, risks, and open actions to Delivery.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading project procurement strategies and managing commercial aspects within a dynamic global organization.
