About the Role

Compass Project Consulting is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading commercial functions and providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders, ensuring robust financial management and contractual compliance for projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead budget control, cost planning, procurement strategy development, tender evaluation, and contract packaging.
Manage cost reports, cash flow forecasts, change registers, risk allowances, and cost-to-complete analyses.
Review payment applications, variations, claims, Extension of Time (EOT) cost impacts, and final accounts.
Lead commercial negotiations, contract strategy formulation, and award recommendations.
Provide expert advice on value engineering, cost optimization, procurement processes, and commercial risks.
Ensure commercial governance and contractual compliance, while actively protecting the client's interests.
Offer strategic commercial advice to senior stakeholders and support the achievement of investment objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial management.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial processes and negotiations.
Strong understanding of contract law, procurement, and cost control principles.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring a dedicated professional to manage and oversee commercial aspects of projects within a dynamic consulting environment.
