About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Engineer Electrical (Substation) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the comprehensive execution and supervision of 380kV substation projects and associated electrical and civil works. The successful candidate will ensure all project activities adhere strictly to project specifications, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, safety protocols, quality requirements, and approved schedules.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Engineer Electrical (Substation) will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including:

• Managing the day-to-day site execution of 380kV BSP/substation projects.
• Coordinating effectively with engineering teams, construction personnel, subcontractors, and SEC representatives.
• Ensuring all work is executed precisely according to approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Monitoring project progress, managing manpower, materials, and other site resources efficiently.
• Overseeing timely inspection, testing, documentation, and closure of all site activities.
• Identifying and resolving technical and construction-related issues promptly.
• Maintaining strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), and SEC requirements.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the execution and supervision of electrical substation projects, particularly those involving 380kV infrastructure.

Essential Competencies

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Comprehensive knowledge of substation construction practices.
• Strong capabilities in quality and safety management.
• Proven skills in stakeholder management, including interaction with SEC, consultants, and contractors.
• Effective planning, scheduling, and execution skills for complex projects.
