Project Engineer Electrical (Substation)

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Engineer Electrical (Substation) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the execution and supervision of 380kV substation projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, SEC standards, and safety and quality requirements.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and civil works associated with 380kV substations. This includes managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring all activities align with approved designs and schedules. The role requires a strong focus on compliance with industry and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily site execution of 380kV BSP/substation projects.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering teams, construction personnel, subcontractors, and SEC representatives.
• Ensure all work is executed strictly according to approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress, resource allocation including manpower and materials, and overall site resources.
• Facilitate timely inspections, testing, documentation, and closure of all site activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues promptly.
• Maintain continuous compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology (** or Bachelor of Engineering ( in Electrical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in project execution.
• Demonstrated experience specifically in 380kV BSP/substation projects.
• Mandatory SEC approval.
• Strong knowledge of SEC standards, project execution methodologies, site coordination, and subcontractor management.
• Experience with High Voltage (HV) Substations.

• Effective stakeholder management, including interaction with SEC, consultants, and contractors.

Work Environment
