Saudi Arabian Trading and Construction Company (SATCO) is seeking a Quality Mechanical Inspector to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to one of Saudi Arabia's significant giga projects, contributing to the assurance of high-quality mechanical installations.

Role Overview

The Quality Mechanical Inspector focuses strictly on the hands-on inspection, verification, and documentation of mechanical installations directly on-site. This is a field-heavy quality control role, ensuring comprehensive compliance from the initial material delivery through to the testing and commissioning phases of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable standards.
• Conduct inspections and prepare Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) in coordination with the Consultant/PMC.
• Review material deliveries and verify their compliance with approved material submittals.
• Monitor installation quality, identify non-conformities, and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection records and test reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants during inspection and testing activities.
• Witness testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for various mechanical systems.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in quality inspection or a closely related field within mechanical installations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, site-based role located in Riyadh, contributing to a major construction project. The position requires active participation in field inspections and coordination with various project stakeholders.
