The Role of Reporting Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Reporting Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting various aspects of project financial and performance reporting, with a focus on data collection, analysis, and the development of reporting knowledge. The position is suited for a professional with over 10 years of experience in relevant fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarization with company financial and cornerstone systems and processes.
  • Understanding financial terminology, measures, concepts, and principles for analyzing financial data.
  • Exposure to processes that enhance recognition of the financial impact of various project actions.
  • Understanding Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) concepts and principles.
  • Researching data for subsequent use in cost and schedule analysis.
  • Developing knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to use drawings and specifications.
  • Assisting in the collection of progress data and reviewing performance trends.
  • Developing knowledge of earned value concepts, principles, and methodology.
  • Collecting data and producing initial analysis on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
  • Collecting data and producing initial analysis for tracking actual cost to funding limitations.
  • Providing support for tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
  • Understanding the concepts and principles of project revenue and cost.
  • Developing knowledge of scope control and change management.
  • Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts, and principles.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering an opportunity to contribute to significant infrastructure projects within a global firm.
