King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH) is a leading institution in Riyadh, dedicated to advancing medical science and patient care. We are seeking a skilled and committed professional to join our research team in a full-time capacity.

The Role: Research Technician Group Leader

The Research Technician Group Leader will perform essential technical and managerial laboratory duties, conduct basic data analysis, and support a research project as an integral part of a scientific team. This role also involves training students and trainees in fundamental laboratory techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tests and experiments, and collect data to support research activities.
• Execute routine tasks accurately, adhering to strict methodologies and established protocols.
• Perform data analysis using specified software programs.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Maintain comprehensive experimental data and laboratory reports/procedures.
• Order and maintain sufficient laboratory supplies and materials, ensuring general tidiness and cleanliness of the laboratory.
• Train students and trainees in basic laboratory techniques.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
• Comply with all hospital-related policies and procedures.
• Participate in self and others’ education, training, and development, as applicable.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree or an Associate Degree is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree, or four (4) years of relevant experience with an Associate Degree.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrated excellent technical, managerial, communication, and computer skills and accomplishments. These will be assessed by the immediate supervisor using the Scientific Scoring Form.
• Proven working knowledge in safety measures, including biological, radiological, and/or chemical safety. Proof is required in the form of certificates. If certificates are not available, a letter from the immediate supervisor stating the candidate's working knowledge in the relevant field is acceptable.
