About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Safety Support Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing dedicated support to various tasks related to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Safety Management System.

Role Context and Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of safety management processes within the RSAF framework. The specialist will work to maintain regulatory compliance and support operational safety across various functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Document, maintain, and deploy the RSAF Safety Management System, ensuring adherence to regulatory framework requirements.
• Coordinate safety assurance audit activities to verify effective implementation of safety management processes.
• Manage interfaces between RSAF HQ Directorates and/or capabilities and the Safety organisation.
• Establish and maintain the RSAF Teams Safety Meeting Schedule.
• Manage the Safety Team’s Action Tracking system to ensure all Team Tasking is controlled.
• Develop and implement the RSAF’s Safety Management Systems as directed.
• Assist the RSAF in establishing and implementing systems, processes, and procedures to monitor the efficiency of their Safety Management System.
• Support safety investigations as required by the RSAF customer.
• Conduct all RSAF incident/fault investigations and, where appropriate, assist in the coordination of corrective actions.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of RSAF experience within Aircraft, Mechanical, Operations, or industrial maintenance, operations, and Safety.
• Demonstrated understanding of RSAF maintenance and operational environments in a support role, including reliability management and data analysis.
• Exposure to and knowledge of Safety regulations and processes.

• Ability to communicate, influence, and direct the decision-making process at all levels.
