About the Role

AlKhalejiah is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on expanding our food product portfolio across the HORECA (Hotel/Restaurant/Café) and Retail sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and commercial initiatives, identifying new opportunities, and converting product interest into sales.

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for our food products by analysing market and customer needs, expanding product distribution, increasing market visibility, and strengthening brand presence. This position requires a commercially driven individual with strong experience in product marketing, sales, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product marketing and promotional plans for HORECA and Retail channels.
• Create product positioning, marketing messages, and commercial proposals for various customers and sales channels.
• Promote food products to hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, supermarkets, retailers, distributors, and corporate clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, product presentations, sampling, quotations, negotiations, closing, and follow-up.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, buyers, purchasing teams, distributors, and retail partners.
• Achieve sales, revenue, margin, customer-acquisition, and distribution targets.
• Increase product listings, expand distribution coverage, and improve product visibility across retail outlets.
• Conduct regular analysis of customer behaviour, market trends, competitors, pricing, and product performance.
• Identify suitable marketing and commercial opportunities for each product category.
• Collect customer feedback and translate market insights into product-development and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate product samples, trials, presentations, listing requirements, and launch activities.
• Support marketing campaigns, trade activities, exhibitions, product launches, and in-store promotions.
• Develop targeted marketing and sales initiatives to improve inventory movement and increase sales of slow-moving products.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure campaign effectiveness, product availability, and timely order fulfilment.
• Prepare regular reports covering sales performance, marketing initiatives, market opportunities, sales forecasts, and customer feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in product marketing, sales, and business development.
• Proven commercial acumen and ability to drive sales growth.
• Experience in the food product industry, particularly within HORECA and Retail sectors, is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively with various internal departments to achieve business objectives.
