SAP HCM Consultant

About the Role

Abstract Resources is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant for a contract engagement in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role supports a major public-sector client's new SAP HCM initiative, focusing on cash-to-accrual conversion and actuarial valuation readiness. The position requires immediate availability for full-time, on-site work in Riyadh.

Project Context

The consultant will play a key role in ensuring the accurate conversion of financial data within SAP HCM, specifically addressing cash-to-accrual processes and preparing data for actuarial valuations. This involves close collaboration with finance teams and adherence to Saudi public-sector payroll requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cash-to-accrual conversion activities within SAP HCM.
• Ensure correct handling of end-of-service and leave liability calculations.
• Review and optimize PA/OM structures, employee assignments, and salary components.
• Validate Time Management configuration, leave balances, and accrual logic.
• Prepare and align SAP data and configuration for actuarial valuations.
• Work closely with Finance teams to ensure correct integration with FI.
• Support public-sector payroll requirements specific to Saudi Arabia.
• Provide hands-on guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer throughout the project.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP HCM, with a strong background in PA/OM and Time Management.
• Solid understanding of Saudi payroll rules and public-sector processes.
• Experience with end-of-service, leave liabilities, and accrual calculations.
• Knowledge of how HCM data feeds into FI for valuation and reporting.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh for the full duration of the project.
• Fluent in Arabic.

Work Environment and Availability

This is a contract position requiring full-time, on-site presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be available to start immediately.
