Role Overview: Saudi Networking Engineer

Exequt MENA is seeking a skilled Saudi Networking Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves the design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and performance of network systems that support critical business operations, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and security infrastructure. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1/2 technical support to end users through phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows, Microsoft 365, various applications, laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain user workstations and associated software.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access controls utilizing Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Support endpoint security measures, including antivirus/EDR solutions, encryption, and device compliance.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
• Create, update, and close incidents and service requests within the ITSM/ticketing system.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and hardware inventory records.
• Escalate complex technical issues to specialized infrastructure, network, security, or application teams as required.
• Prepare basic technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-base articles.
• Adhere to established IT security policies, procedures, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.

Technical Environment and Support Focus

This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure principles combined with practical experience in providing comprehensive IT support. The engineer will operate within an environment that demands proficiency in managing and troubleshooting a range of systems, including Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 services, and Active Directory / Entra ID for identity and access management. A focus on maintaining endpoint security and ensuring device compliance is also central to the position.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a networking or IT support role, demonstrating a proven ability to manage and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. Proficiency in supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory is essential. Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems and an understanding of IT security policies are also required.
