The Role of Security Analyst

Secure Tech is seeking a Security Analyst to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing security tools not yet integrated into the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, such as Forescout NAC and Nexthink. The Security Analyst will also be responsible for validating and actioning escalations from the Security Operations Center (SOC) across the existing security stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and action security alerts escalated by the 3rd-party SOC from Gurucul SIEM.
• Monitor CrowdStrike (primary EDR, ~3,600 devices) and Sentinel One (secondary POS, ~1,100 devices) consoles for threats not yet correlated in SIEM.
• Monitor Vectra AI Network Detection and Response (NDR) alerts.
• Review Beyond Trust Privileged Access Management (PAM) session logs and recordings for anomalous privileged access.
• Monitor Cisco Duo for suspicious authentication patterns from internal and 3rd-party remote users.
• Review Proofpoint email-threat and phishing-simulation results.
• Monitor Cloudflare Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) events protecting the e-commerce platform.
• Review and prioritize vulnerability findings surfaced by CrowdStrike Spotlight, and hand off remediation-worthy items to the Vulnerability Assessment Engineer.
• Periodically review current security solutions and policies, and recommend improvements.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in security analysis or a similar field.
