About the Role

Clear Engineering Consultants is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control. The ideal candidate will contribute to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the company.

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing key financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. This position demands strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work effectively within a professional team. Previous experience within engineering consultancy or construction companies is highly preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily accounting activities.
• Preparing comprehensive financial statements.
• Handling monthly closing procedures accurately.
• Monitoring and controlling project costs effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and Saudi regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous experience in engineering consultancy or construction companies is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience in preparing financial statements, financial reports, and monthly and annual closing.
• Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control.
• Good knowledge of VAT, ZATCA regulations, and Saudi tax requirements.
• Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP system is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA are an advantage.
