The Role: Senior Cloud & Security Infrastructure Engineer

Nextwo is expanding its Cloud & Infrastructure team and is seeking a Senior Cloud & Security Infrastructure Engineer. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, security, and reliability of enterprise cloud and hybrid environments, specifically across Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure and OCI.
• Administer and support hybrid cloud environments, including integrating on-premises and cloud services (Azure Hybrid Identity).
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Administer network security solutions such as FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, load balancers, and WAF.
• Manage endpoint security platforms including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Trend Micro Apex One, and Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Azure Monitor, OCI Monitoring, and OpManager.
• Develop infrastructure security standards, policies, and operational best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, and Information Security.
• Proven experience managing enterprise environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Strong expertise in cloud administration and architecture (Azure and OCI).
• Strong background in enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and firewall administration.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Azure (AZ-104/AZ-305) or OCI Architect tracks.
• Experience with IAM and identity governance in hybrid environments.
• Background supporting large-scale enterprise or telecom/digital infrastructure clients.
• Familiarity with Saudi enterprise IT compliance/security frameworks.
