About the Role

Publicis Groupe Middle East is seeking a Senior Arabic Copywriter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with at least five years of experience in concept creation and copywriting for advertising campaigns. The role involves developing compelling and effective concepts and copy in Arabic, working within an agency environment for global brands.

Role Overview

The Senior Arabic Copywriter is responsible for crafting communication pieces and campaigns across various mediums. This involves collaborating with the creative team to ensure messages effectively communicate campaign goals and resonate with target audiences. The role manages projects from initial concept through to final execution, including overseeing and mentoring junior copywriters. Candidates should possess a natural storytelling ability and experience in client interaction, including presenting and rationalizing creative work.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with creative leaders to contribute actionable and thought-provoking ideas.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Investigate industry best practices and new possibilities in communication.
• Participate in opportunity briefs to consistently develop creative abilities.
• Write, proofread, and edit content, including copy and product descriptions, ensuring consistency.
• Collaborate with an Art Director to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
• Apply understanding of 1:1 marketing channels and data intelligence to address communication challenges.
• Make conceptual and strategic decisions across diverse clients and industries.
• Take briefs, craft succinct and effective copy, write and format copydecks, and interpret brand tone of voice.
• Develop and execute strategically sound creative for cross-channel initiatives.
• Present work persuasively to both internal teams and clients, providing clear reasoning.
• Actively listen to understand client and internal feedback.
• Ensure communications meet high standards of accuracy and quality control.
• Deliver fresh ideas and personality while adhering to existing brand voice and tone.
• Conceptualize and write various content types, from white paper ideas and scripts to in-store signage and social media.
• Research competitors and industry trends to provide creative insights.
• Partner with creatives to ensure cohesive storytelling across idea, copy, and design.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• At least 5 years of experience in concept creation, with a clear understanding of the distinction between a communication concept and an executional idea.
• Mastery in developing Arabic copy for large cross-channel and/or direct-marketing initiatives across online and offline media.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study.
