About the Opportunity

Link Datacenter is seeking a Senior Data Privacy & Personal Data Protection Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to developing and overseeing robust privacy policies, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and supporting enterprise-wide data protection initiatives across the organization.

Role Purpose

The specialist will play a critical role in safeguarding personal data and maintaining the integrity of our data handling practices. This position involves a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating privacy risks, ensuring that Link Datacenter adheres to all relevant Personal Data Protection regulations and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive data privacy policies.
• Ensure continuous compliance with Personal Data Protection regulations.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new and existing systems and processes.
• Support the implementation of data classification and handling standards.
• Review identified privacy risks and recommend effective mitigation actions.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Information Security, and IT teams on data protection matters.
• Conduct awareness and training sessions for employees on data privacy best practices.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory assessments related to data privacy.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in data privacy, personal data protection, or a related field. This experience should include practical application of privacy frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management within an organizational setting.

Team Collaboration and Impact

This role requires strong collaborative skills, working cross-functionally with various departments including Legal, Information Security, and IT to embed privacy-by-design principles and ensure a unified approach to data protection. The specialist's contributions will directly enhance the organization's security posture and regulatory adherence.
