About DeepSource Technologies

DeepSource Technologies, in partnership with DS DeepSource GmbH, is seeking a Senior Database Administrator. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and offers an opportunity to join a multinational partner environment.

The Role

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of critical databases. This role involves working closely with other IT professionals, developers, and stakeholders to maintain smooth database operations and support mission-critical applications. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in database administration.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor the performance, reliability, and availability of databases.
Develop and implement security measures to protect databases from unauthorized access or data loss.
Design, implement, and maintain database systems and schemas.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Plan and execute database backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and connectivity problems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with 5-10 years in a similar role.
Demonstrated ability to manage, monitor, and optimize database systems.
Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, are considered a plus.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic multinational partner environment, collaborating with various IT professionals and stakeholders.
