Senior Estimation Engineer

About the Role

Abunayyan Holding is seeking a Senior Estimation Engineer to join its Presales & Tendering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates for critical infrastructure projects, particularly within data centers and MEP systems. The position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in estimation, tendering, or cost engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and quantity take-offs for data center projects.
• Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), technical specifications, drawings, and tender requirements.
• Develop competitive pricing for electrical, mechanical, Extra-Low Voltage (ELV), and infrastructure systems.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and assess tender-related risks.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Prepare commercial proposals and support tender submissions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in estimation, tendering, or cost engineering.
• Experience in Data Centers or Mission-Critical MEP Projects is highly preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC/cooling, fire protection, ELV, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis within the Presales & Tendering team.
