The Role: Senior Managing Consultant, Services Business Development, Marketing

Mastercard (KSA) is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant for Services Business Development in Marketing. This full-time, client-facing role in Riyadh involves partnering with senior marketing leaders at customer organizations to design and deliver high-impact marketing and customer engagement solutions across a multi-market portfolio in the region. The consultant will be accountable for revenue growth and will combine strong marketing expertise with the ability to originate, shape, and close opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve ambitious revenue targets for marketing solutions across a portfolio of markets.
Build and deepen senior relationships with CMOs, Heads of Marketing, and broader business leadership at priority clients.
Design integrated, outcome-led marketing and engagement solutions based on client business priorities.
Develop compelling value-based narratives, proposals, and business cases.
Collaborate with Product, Marketing & Communications, Account Management, and other internal teams to shape and deliver client propositions.
Scope and manage engagements end-to-end, working with Legal, Compliance, and delivery partners to ensure high-quality execution.
Demonstrate client impact and return on investment using evidence, benchmarks, and measurement.
Share expertise with account teams to identify and advance opportunities.
Represent Mastercard Services at client workshops, industry events, and market forums.
Travel regularly across markets in the region.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Proven commercial track record in client development across marketing, partnerships, media, or experiential solutions, gained in an agency, media, partnership, or senior in-house marketing role.
Alternatively, a high-performing senior marketing leader from a bank or major consumer brand with a demonstrable record of building high-impact campaigns and partnerships.
Established senior marketing relationships in the region; financial services experience is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to structure and close deals involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Experience managing agencies and third-party partners, including negotiating commercial terms and ensuring delivery.
Track record of delivering against ambitious targets.
Experience with P&L or margin management is an advantage.

Distinguishing Attributes

Understanding of how marketing investment decisions are made in large organizations, ideally within financial services.
Experience in building and scaling a portfolio, practice, or partnership program.
A strong network of senior marketing leaders and partners across the GCC and wider region.
Creative flair for designing memorable customer experiences.
