The Role: Senior Project Manager (Hotel Delivery)

Mace Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Hotel Delivery) to join its project management team in Riyadh. This part-time position involves working on a significant mixed-use development in Saudi Arabia, which includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure. The role focuses on leading the delivery of major building works from the construction phase through to testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out, acting as part of the programme delivery partner organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of a major building package through construction and handover.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, specialists, and internal project controls teams to achieve programme objectives.
• Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and identify necessary mitigation measures.
• Ensure all works comply with contractual obligations, quality standards, safety requirements, and project procedures.
• Chair project meetings and provide clear reports on progress, risks, issues, opportunities, and key decisions.
• Review contractor programmes, methodologies, recovery plans, and resource strategies.
• Drive proactive risk management and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and project close-out activities.
• Support governance processes, approvals, and project reporting requirements.
• Foster a collaborative working environment among all project stakeholders.
• Champion health, safety, sustainability, and quality performance throughout project delivery.
• Mentor and support project managers and other junior team members.
