The Senior Project Manager Role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Luxury Projects) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing strategic direction and management oversight to Project Managers across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a specific focus on luxury developments. The successful candidate will ensure project completion on schedule and within budget, adhering to all contractual obligations, while managing scope development, scope management, and commercial performance to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management to Project Managers (PMs) to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within or below budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Establish project goals for PMs and projects, aligning them with the Country Manager's objectives and corporate strategy.
• Oversee the delivery and overall success of projects, supervise managers, and report progress and performance to the Country Manager.
• Define program requirements for all project areas and verify deliverables meet established criteria.
• Supervise the establishment of essential project documents, including the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan.
• Act as the primary company representative with the client and selected subcontractors throughout project execution.
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and key subcontractors.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and secure additional work with clients.
• Develop and distribute project summaries to all project team members for reference.
• Work with key project personnel to devise and implement action plans addressing potential cost overruns, delays, or significant scope changes, advising both the client and company management.
• Promote technical and commercial excellence on projects through the application of Quality Assurance processes.
• Monitor and report to the Country Manager on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions affecting project cost or schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction and design management, with a significant focus on luxury hospitality projects.
• Thorough knowledge of program management, engineering principles, and industry best practices and regulations.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective interaction with clients, corporate stakeholders, and project managers on both technical and non-technical subjects.
• Advanced leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to perform effectively in a senior management capacity.
• Proven ability to supervise all projects and project managers, providing constructive feedback and resolving complex problems.
• Advanced knowledge of current technology and its effective application within project contexts.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated presence to oversee luxury projects within the region.
