About the Role

WSP Middle East is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Director – Supervision to join its team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on leading the day-to-day management and successful delivery of major Property & Buildings supervision projects across the Kingdom. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.

Role Purpose and Scope

The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive project leadership, client management, and supervision operations. This includes overseeing commercial performance, supporting bid processes, ensuring robust project governance, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Working closely with the Project Director and Director of Supervision, the role ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and in adherence to WSP's quality standards and client expectations. The role requires strong leadership, client-facing capabilities, operational management, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major supervision projects from mobilisation through to completion, managing multidisciplinary supervision teams.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, resource plans, and delivery strategies.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and key performance indicators, ensuring effective coordination among clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure client expectations are met and to drive repeat business opportunities.
• Manage the operational delivery of supervision services, including appropriate deployment and utilisation of project resources and coordination of site teams.
• Support proposal preparation, technical submissions, and contribute project delivery expertise to work-winning activities and pipeline development.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering collaboration, teamwork, and high-performance behaviours.

Commercial and Governance Oversight

• Manage project budgets, revenue, resource utilisation, and profitability, including monitoring financial performance and forecasting.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate mitigation measures, and supporting contract administration and change control processes.
• Ensure compliance with WSP project management systems, contractual obligations, regulatory, and authority requirements.
• Drive quality assurance and quality control across project delivery, maintaining oversight of project risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Champion WSP's safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record managing large-scale building projects within Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary supervision teams and major client relationships.
• Strong understanding of project governance, contract administration, and commercial management.
