About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Senior Specialist Financial Reporting to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial reports, conducting detailed variance analysis, and supporting key financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and audits. The specialist will ensure strict adherence to accounting standards across all activities.

Key Accountabilities

• Generate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with established accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, evaluate performance metrics, and provide actionable insights.
• Perform comprehensive variance analysis by comparing actual financial results against budgeted figures, highlighting performance deviations and areas for improvement.
• Support the development of financial forecasts and contribute to monthly plan updates, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Produce specialized financial reports for different divisions, offering clear and detailed overviews of performance across various business areas.
• Calculate and verify month-end results, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all financial reports.
• Provide essential support during audit processes by preparing and organizing necessary documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis. A strong understanding of accounting standards and financial data interpretation is essential. The role requires a professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple financial processes effectively while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
