Overview of the Role

Museum Studio is seeking an experienced Site Construction Inspector to support a major cultural project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the later-stage fit-out and delivery phases, ensuring on-site works meet quality and compliance standards within a complex cultural environment. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Context and Purpose

The Site Construction Inspector will be based full-time on-site, responsible for daily inspection and quality assurance activities. This role is critical for ensuring that all works are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and established standards, guiding the project from execution through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process Work Inspection Reports (WIRs).
  • Conduct material delivery inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Review and approve material samples.
  • Review Shop Drawings for accuracy and conformance.
  • Attend and contribute to site meetings.
  • Coordinate with contractors and project teams to identify and resolve quality or compliance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and site activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • An Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction.
  • 5-10 years of prior experience as a Site Inspector or in a similar site-based QA/QC role.
  • Relevant museum or exhibition project experience is essential.
  • Experience with fit-out or specialized construction environments, such as cultural, museum, or exhibition spaces.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of construction inspection processes, material verification, and shop drawing review.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with site teams and attending meetings.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with working hours from Sunday to Thursday. The role operates within a demanding cultural project environment.
