SME Digital Transformation

About the Role

EjadTech is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Digital Transformation to support strategic opportunities and client engagements across government and private sector organizations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves digital transformation consulting, business development enablement, solution development, and selective delivery support. The SME will advise clients, assess transformation maturity, and shape practical solutions aligned with Saudi regulatory requirements, national digital frameworks, and EjadTech’s capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on digital transformation strategy, operating models, digital maturity, governance, and technology-enabled transformation.
• Conduct maturity assessments, current-state and gap analysis, benchmarking, and target-state definition.
• Develop transformation strategies, roadmaps, initiatives, governance models, and performance improvement plans.
• Advise clients on Saudi digital frameworks, regulatory requirements, and national indicators, including DGA, SDAIA, NDMO, NORA.
• Assess performance against applicable indicators, identify gaps, and develop initiatives to improve maturity, compliance, and readiness.
• Participate in client discovery sessions to understand business needs and transformation priorities.
• Design integrated solutions covering consulting, digital strategy, assessments, governance, technology platforms, products, and managed services.
• Support technical and consulting proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and statements of work.
• Support Business Development teams in strategic client meetings, workshops, and opportunity shaping.
• Identify transformation opportunities based on client priorities, pain points, regulatory requirements, and maturity gaps.
• Participate selectively in consulting and transformation engagements to ensure continuity between proposed solutions and implementation.
• Review key deliverables and support project teams in resolving complex transformation, maturity, and regulatory alignment challenges.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in digital transformation or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi digital ecosystem, including DGA, SDAIA, NDMO, NORA, relevant national indicators, governance requirements, and maturity models.
• Familiarity with international best practices in digital transformation.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical, prioritized, and measurable digital initiatives.
• Experience in assessing opportunities from strategic, consulting, technical, and delivery perspectives.
• Capability to lead or support executive workshops, assessments, and strategy discussions.

Solution Development and Client Engagement

This role requires defining initial scope, methodology, workstreams, deliverables, assumptions, and implementation considerations for digital transformation projects. The SME will ensure proposed solutions are practical, commercially relevant, technically feasible, and aligned with EjadTech’s capabilities. Additionally, the role involves positioning EjadTech’s expertise across digital transformation, enterprise architecture, data and AI, digital experience, innovation, governance, cloud, cybersecurity, software, and emerging technologies to clients.

Delivery and Execution Support

The SME will provide expert support during assessment, planning, design, governance, and performance improvement stages of engagements. This includes reviewing key deliverables and assisting project teams in resolving complex transformation, maturity, and regulatory alignment challenges. Insights gained from implementation and market needs will be captured to improve future offerings and opportunities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting clients across both government and private sectors.
